Have 2460 denali that is loud when running at speed. Has any one has luck with adding sound insulation to quiet things down?

Had it done over the winter. Can't wait to see how well it works. There was nothing in the engine box before.

have you had a chance to run the boat with the sound proofing in.

We have the same interest with our 2460

Ran the boat home today, almost two hours between 3500 and 4000 rpm. Could hear the radio...a first for me. Made a significant change in noise level. Well worth doing.

Not sure of the brand. One inch thick foam with foil coating on both sides. Edges all sealed with foam tape. What a difference it made.
