3000 Express Cabin Leak

Yes,remove both screws on interior trim bezel. Then you will see 6 or 8 more screws on an aluminum plate. Remove them as well. From outside soak paper towels with paint thinner,wrap them around porthole to weaken caulking . Pry away gently with paint scrapers.

I did get the molding once years ago, I will look up where. I think it is now from Pompanette. If you pull the screws one at a time and bed them in silicone that will do it. If you pull out the molding and then re-install it will stretch back to the right length. As it shrinks I have taken black sil...

Yes I did. I also cut the tip to about 1/8 or so and used my finger to make it conform.

2001 Pursuit 3000 Express Ignition Switch

If you have the TABS box under the stairs I would start there before messing with the switches on the dash. Dan I'm working on mine as well. Sounds about the same. I am going to re fill the void with structural closed cell foam. Then seal the foam with boat life . Another 3000 Express Engine Vent Repair

Dan I bought a can of the foam. It is like spray foam. Gotta look up the brand for you. My email is bobbruce@optonline.net. we pulled the vents when the boat came out,then dug everything out. Kept it covered til I shrink wrapped the boat. Gonna let it dry till spring.
