5000 series velvet drive trans leak
Anyone replaced the rear main seals on the 5000 series velvet drive transmissions found in the 3000 pursuit expresses? I am hoping to do this repair while the transmissions are still in the boat due to the major work to pull them. Any advice would be great!!!

3000 Express Rudder Repair
Posted over on THT, too. Dropped the rudders out of my boat to change the shaft seals due to a slow annoying leak. Found some pitting and crevice corrosion where the seal rides on the rudder post. I plan to build up the area with weld and machine / polish back to size. Any ideas what material the po...

1995 Pursuit 3000 Offshore Transmission Work

Both transmissions were rebuilt, needed it, and are performing nicely. No leaks, like new.
