New 3000 Express owner

I had a set of 4 blade Dyna-quads on my boat for a very short time last year. They'll drive the bow down more than 3 blades. 19x19 (4 blade) is too much. I think I hit just over 4000 WOT. 19x17 is probably more appropriate. More responsive around the dock though. I've just made it a habit now to bum...

New 3000 Express owner

Congratulations, beautiful boat. There are a few owners here that will be happy to help. Some gas powered and at least two with diesels. This is what your boat came with, from the Pursuit webpage : Michigan Wheel 19 X 19 3-Blade #5 CUP HT If your boat is hitting RPM I would just take the props and h...

New 3000 Express owner

I have the same boat. Currently have 19x21 3 blades. I have considered 4 blades as I often need a little to a lot of tab for best speed to get the nose over. I had some vibration when I got mine. Engine alignment was the major culprit but when I replaced transmissions with zf hurths I had to shorten...

2002 Pursuit 3000 Express with water in the cabin

1. Forward bilge. The engine room bilge will flow forward into the cabin bilge. Most of us have plugged the hole to prevent the water. 2. Windshield wiper wire passage. The wiper power wires run down the channel on the windshield frame into the cabin, allows water to enter the cabin and drip on top ...

5294 Thanks Woodworker2001 Woodworker2001 , The rubber trim is pretty shrunken up and I was going to try to get a new set if I could find it. If you do have the part number that would be great! I would love to order it now in the offseason! Thanks for the help! Rich https://pompanette.com/store/rep...

Cutlass Bearings

I replaced mine about 5 years ago, maybe more. I believe the OD is 2 inches but you should verify that. I am looking for my records on that but I have sold that boat.

Cutlass Bearings

I measure mine at 2" OD.

1-1/2" Shaft.

The strut is 6-3/16 long, but the bearing is set back and likely 6" long.
