385 offshore fuel consumption

I have a 2016 385 Offshore. It has triple 350s. I've put about 350 hours on her and no matter what I do, I average .8 MPG on a trip. I'm curious about changing props? I would like to get 1.0. With only 375 gallons of fuel, my range isn't near what I would like it to be.

385 offshore fuel consumption

I have 375 2010 offshore and I get under .8 with triple 350's. pushing over 20,000 pounds fast takes gas.

385 offshore fuel consumption

My experience has been similar. Approximately .8 mpg at cruise.

You may want to consider a fuel bladder for longer trips off shore. I recently purchased a 75 gallon bladder for that exact reason and have been very happy with it.

385 offshore fuel consumption

2019 OS355 with trip 300's and I average .8 running 4100RPM and 32MPH. Factory suggests running around 3500RPMs at 27MPH to get .98 but the boat won't stay on plane at that speed and I burn .6!

385 offshore fuel consumption

Follow on to my last post: I installed the 4-blade, 16"pitch on the center engine and ran it through the RPM range. Overall impression is very good. While I am still not able to get 1MPG, I am getting increased speed at lower RPM and am achieving 29MPH at 3600 RPM with 3 POB and half-full tanks...

385 offshore fuel consumption

I'm very interested in this topic. I have the same issue. in perfect conditions I get .8, but any slop or extra load it drops into the .7's. Sucks for canyon runs. I'm not a fan of fuel bladders. Please post results and set up. Thanks.
