I have a 2018 Pursuit 325OS with power assist steering and a Garmin autopilot. On the dash there is a togle switch to turn the power steering pump off/on. Can someone tell me the purpose of have a switch for the power steering? When would it be advantageous to turn it off? If they went to the troubl...

I feel your pain. Need to get things going on our boat. I have a few repairs to complete before we get her wet. Both involve glass work and it has been such a late, wet and cold spring that we have had to wait for the weather to break. Planning to get started this weekend!

PostSun Jul 21, 2019 1:38 pm any one own a 2460 denali? Looking at one for Great lakes
Hey tjmile! Thanks so much for sharing the info! Although this IS an older thread- the info is certainly "timeless":) I do have to say - and this is ONLY intended as helpful; that much of your frustration with the Denali may be due to your own misunderstanding and/ or simple lack of knowle...

Thanks. I guess my first step will be to see if I can get any pictures of it without removing steps to see if I can look up a model/serial number and take it from there.

PostSun Jul 05, 2020 9:38 pm 2460 Denali >> front compartment water drainage/bidge pump?
My 96 denali’s cabin is ripe also, I pulled about 20 gallons of pond scum out of it when it sat on the trailer. It seems to me that the hull is deeper in the bow and when on plane the water makes it back to the rear bilge.

Just got home from another after dinner sunset cruise. Flat water, tunes blasting, boat running like a top, alone time etc.etc.etc. Even though the world is upside down and inside out nites like tonite make me appreciate what is good. Thanks for letting me vent.

What mileage are you trying to accomplish? I figure I can get 270 miles per Full tanks of gas. I have new Sharrow props ordered. They won't deliver til next year, but hoping for some big numbers with them. I have also heard some talk of putting Merc. Inertia props make larger MPG gains. Tightline

I just bought a lewmar pro fish 700 for my 2460. I think it’s going to be a little more involved not plug and play . Power has to be run from the battery up to that switch with a breaker in between then I have to find where those wires in the anchor locker ended up

Hi everyone. New guy here and had some questions about a 1991 Pursuit 2800. I can't find much about them on THT, so I thought I would check here. Looking for somewhat of a project boat and wanted to know if there were any issues with those hulls?

What does everyone think? I love the boat but definitely a lot of building glitches. The fishbox mascerator, TERRIBLE. It constantly fills up with water and very hard to pump it all out. It also is not sealed so after a while, the boxes full up with water even when not using boat (from rainfall, etc...
