1990 Pursuit 2650 New to Site

Postby BondBoats » Sun Sep 13, 2015 10:17 am

My name is Jonathan Bond out of Central Florida I own Bond Boats yacht brokerage but also recently just bought a 1990 Pursuit 2650 outboard Bracket repowered with twin Yamaha 200 HPDIs. Ive basically gone through the entire boat and redone everything including having a new aluminum outboard bracket built. I am very proud of my 2650 because I don't think there are many out there that look as good as mine especially with the new bracket that I had powder coated and fitted with Seadek. I also made by platform about 9 inches wider on both sides for easier boarding in and out of the water. From the cabin to the cockpit to all new pumps, batteries, head, seacocks, steps, upholstery you name it I've basically done it all and would be glad to help anyone else that has any questions. I checked all stringers and bulkheads before buying and all checked out great. I honestly would have never considered buying a boat this old but because it was a Pursuit I knew i couldn't go wrong with the quality of the craftsmanship. My wife and I really have enjoyed the boat, she rides great and looks awesome. We get compliments everywhere we go. This will be the first boat that Ive bought and not wanted to turn around and make some money on it. This ones is going to stay under my carport for many years to come. Check out my photos below. Make it a great day. Go Boating!

Thanks Guys I'm really proud of her. YOLO yeah man when I got it back from powder coat and SeaDek and I was stoked the way it came out. A Budy of mine did all the fabrication with half inch aluminum base and one inch on the motor side with quarter inch for the platform. This thing is super stout and still lighter than the old fiberglass one.

Couple questions. How fast does it go now? I was wondering why the bracket looks at a slanted angle sloping down. TY
