My name is Ron and I moved to Port Saint Lucie, Fl a year ago and bought my first Pursuit in Dec 10. I had a 23'CC and wanted something not only bigger but one we could spend the night or weekend on. After looking for months I found a 2006 Pursuit 3370 with 100 hours on the motors and never been fished on or stayed on overnight. At first I was concerned about the twin 300 HPDI Yamahas because of the bad press they got when they first came out but I have not had any problems whatsoever and with a cruise speed of 36mph at 29 gallons an hour, seems respectable and not much can touch it in the same class. So far we love the boat and spend 2-3 days on it at a time usually anchored on the Indian or St Lucie Rivers. Looking forward to our first run over to the Bahamas hopefully next year when I am more familiar with everything that goes along with it. I am also looking for others in the area who are into boating as much as we are and making new friends

Ron, nice boat! Glad that you all are enjoying "all" that it has to offer!

We are in the process of selling our 30 foot Grady but we have enjoyed many sleep-aboard Bahamas trips so when the time gets closer, feel free to contact me for all the advice and suggestions that you'd like!! We've been all over the Abacos, Bimini, West End many, many times.

We plan to move up to a Pursuit OS 345 and we have plans to take that boat a bit deeper into the Bahamas.

Hello Ron. Glad you like your Pursuit. I have a Pursuit 3070 and I live in Fort Lauderdale. Last June me and my son made our first trip to Bimini. Had a blast. The Bahamas goverment host several trips (Boating Flings) and I would recommend you go this way on your first trip. After 5 days running around Bimini I know my way around. I will be making 2 trips in 2012. One alone and the next on a boat fling. We had 18 boats that went across. The really helped with the logistics. We got discounted slip fees and they held a couple of dinners for us. The have a lead boat on the crossing. The boating flings are a lot of fun.
