Hello all, I am Charlie, located in Hampstead, NC. just bought my first pursuit, 2100CC with a 250 yam ox66, love the boat so far. I am In the process of restoringit, between short offshore trips and sand bar runs. The main reason I joined was to figure out how to plumb the livewell In the floor! A previous owner did some hacking on it and I Can’t figure it out!

Hello Charlie. Some pictures might help for us to be able to right the wrongs! Should be fairly easy. You need a water supply from a pump, and a drain hose.

Hello folks mikekellypursuit here. I'm in Seattle & currently have a 19' Boston Whaler Outrage & the older version (classic) 15' Whaler. Looking to upgrade to the Pursuit DC 265 & recently had a very brief sea trial. I'll do another post as I believe this is just introductions but looking forward to exchanging info & stories.

Hi. My name is Garth Salisbury and I own an older (1994) Pursuit 2470 Walkaround. Just joined this forum to get some thoughts and info on my current problem - repowering my boat. My original 250 hp Yamaha 2-stroke - well, she is dead  .

My question for anyone with some technical savvy is this:
My current outboard has a 25 inch shaft. I am seeing some nice used engines and some have a 30 inch shaft. Are there any issues with replacing my existing outboard with one with a 30 inch shaft in terms of the boat's performance, safety, etc.?

Hi, My name is Jeff. I recently purchased a 1990 Pursuit 2800 w/twin 2002 Yamaha 225 4-strokes. My wife and I enjoy boating in the Tampa Bay area but we are looking forward to some longer range cruises around the Gulf-o-Mexico and maybe a crossing through Okeechobee in the coming months. We had a restored 1979 Hydra-Sports 2400 CC for the past 14 years. We had it set up with a spray hood up front and a custom fitted mattress so we could spend weekends on the water. It worked pretty well but this Pursuit will work even better. It is going to be fun being among like minded boating people.
If you have or have had a Pursuit 2800 (not to be confused with a 2870), I would really like to make your acquaintance.

With all that said... "Permission to come aboard?"

Hello All, I am in search of a late model Offshore 255. I have owned Stamas, Starcraft, Wellcraft, Grady, Bayliner but never a Pursuit. I love the look and function and I think it is a great fit for me. Western basin Lake Erie is our home. I plan to learn a lot from the forum.

Hi, John here from Severna Park. Just bought a '93 2150 Walkaround. The old Mercury 2 stroke works, but spits smoke on startup and fumes in operation, that I'll repower in a year or so. Am looking for any advice on new motor.
