Hi all, taking a delivery of my new to me 2018 295DC with twin Yamaha 300s. I do my boating in Long Island Sound out of the Norwalk harbor. This boat will be interesting since my last two boats were high performance offshore boats (33 PowerPlay was the last one). Just seems really slow and piggy but I'm not into that stuff anymore, just looking for more comforts and relaxing with friends and family which this boat seems perfect for.
I think the hull design will be just fine for my waters, primarily 2-3's in the summer, doesn't take much to kick it up bigger but not worried about it. Very much looking forward to the summer and enjoying the new ride!!
