Replacing 2 stroke Evinrude 225 with 4 stroke Yamaha 225 - Weight Question

Replacing 2 stroke Evinrude 225 with 4 stroke Yamaha 225 - Weight Question

Hi I have a older model 1988 Pursuit S2 2200 Cuddy Cabin walk around with a 225 HP Evinrude 2 stroke that weighs around 515 pounds. I would like to replace the 2 stroke Evinrude with a 4 stroke Yamaha 225 HP that weighs about 585 pounds. I called Pursuit that they could not advise me rather or not this additional weight would be a problem for my transom. I'm looking for advice and/or experience with this issue. Thanks!
