Just picked up a very gently used 3370. Previous owner had a canister style raft mounted on the hard top, center line to the rear of open array. Seller elected to keep his raft and I have to mount a replacement. The bolt holes for the cradle on the viking raft I purchased of course don't line up with the old mount.
I know that Pursuit had some dedicated mounting areas on the hard top for the radar. Wood sandwiched in between top and bottom glass. My question is....
Does anyone have experience mounting outside the dedicated area? What did you use to fill the void between the top and bottom fiberglass? 2 part epoxy? high compression resin?
Any advice is much appreciated.
