Other than a few panels that can be take off from the outside how do I tilt the center hem towards the stern for service access. I own a 1998 34" Pursuit express.

Hello Joe. If your helm is like mine, there is a handle in front of the compass. On my boat there are no locking mechanisms to hold the helm. I grab that handle and give it a pull back. My helm is held in place by two black rubber pieces on the helm that fit into two other black rubber pieces behind the helm. I do grease them once a year or so. Without that, and if it has been a long time since it has been opened, it can be very hard to open.

Mark, Thank you, I will give it a try tonight. I just picked this vessel up in August and it is much larger than my center console, a lot to learn. I will also be changing the oil in the twin crusaders. What are you using for oil in yours?

I have diesels and use Rotella oil, not what you would use in gas engines.
