1992 2650 twin bracket

Postby Joshparm » Sun Jul 21, 2019 4:10 pm

I’m looking for help getting better performance with my boat. I’ve got twin 2012 Yamaha 225s on a bracket and it seems to run pretty back heavy. The bracket has no water in it (now). The bow seems to bounce and motors seem to sit pretty low in the water. They appear to be mounted at the correct height given relation to bottom of the boat. I have to run the boat with the trim tabs almost fully down with motors completely trimmed down to get the best performance or it starts to bounce worse and porpoise at times. Any ideas are appreciated.
