2470 WA tackle boxes????
I recently purchased a 1998 Pursuit 2470WA- great boat! but I am having the hardest time finding tackle boxes that would fit in the tackle box compartment. The size is approximately 8 1/2" wide by 13 1/2" long- anything over 13 1/2" would be too long and the compartment door won't close. I've checked Bass Pro, Amazon, Defender, Walmart, Dicks, Plano and ghosthorn. Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
John

2470 WA tackle boxes????
I have a 2470 center console and had what sounds like same problem. NO boxes and nothing would fit. If you can remove the entire storage box., may have to unscrew. In my case I just pulled the whole compartment out of the factory plash wall, bait tank, fish box thing. You will notice that the back side of this compartment... that you just removed. has a cover over the back end... so your tackle boxes will not slip thru the back side. Anyway I added a 1/2 or 3/4 inch spacer on the back side.even just some SS nuts, but I used PVC... I had plenty of space in the compartment to do so. then put it all back together. Now off the shelf from Walmart boxes by Plano and one other Mfg will fit just fine. Lots of choices. Works perfect. Good luck
