I wonder if anyone knows what or is experiencing the same. My 2018 C238 when stored out of water makes a whining pump sound that is higher pitched than the bilge pump...... It cycles on for 20 seconds every 4.75 minutes. The boat is in an enclosed Shop space. The main Battery Switch is off. The only way to cease this cycle is to disconnect the battery terminals.... should I be concerned about battery run down?
Appreciate it if anyone can enlighten me.

So my boat has a second bilge pump mounted mid ship. It's a Rule electronic sensing bilge pump that senses water by spinning up for a few seconds every 10 minutes. If it detects an increased load when spinning due to water in the bilge, it will pump the water out. I'm not a big fan of it but it hasnt caused me any issues if I don't use the boat for a month. When I do winter layup, I either disconnect the batteries or put the batteries on a charger to top them off once a month.
