Any Denali 2460 owner with the 7.4L out there?
My thru hulls for the deck drains are half under water at dock and almost fully under water when loaded with peeps and a cooler. My 5.7L buddy is a good 1/2" below those when loaded and I'm guessing the big block only weights about 300lbs more at most.
I'm getting ready this winter to replace the thru hulls for the deck drains. debating if they should be stainless this time (freshwater boat), bronze or what I'm assuming is the Marelon that is disintegrating on mine.
Also, I won't be at the boat for a few weeks and cannot recall there being call valve shut offs on the thru hulls as shown in my manual, is that true? If so how you do you even get to the port side as there is no access port and your arm cannot possibly fit past the engine!
