Who has a Denali 2460 especially with the big block?

Postby carboncow » Sun Oct 26, 2025 6:25 pm

My ass rides really low in the water...always has since restored the boat 5-6 years ago. I have yet to meet anyone with a big block to compare but a guy I know with a small block has his waterline right about half way through the rear scupper drain while my scuppers tend to be 100% submerged. My starboard side is always lower in the water due to how the wind blows into our disgustingly dirty marina. See the photo attached for reference and note the yellow line where the water line usually is.

Purchased boat for $5K on a trailer with a running (but tired engine). Currently working on new engine, maintenance on outdrive, new vinyl, new canvas, new swim platform and radar arch. Will be in the water by Aug 2020. Let me know what question you have!
