Windlass factory prewire on 2870
Installing new Lewmar 1000 Profish windlass on new to me 2002 Pursuit 2870.
Boat was prewired at factory for windlass. Found heavy cables in battery compartment and wires under deck in anchor locker.
Anyone know where Pursuit hid the wires that come back to the helm or battery compartment?
Wife anxious to be relieved of anchoring duties!

We have owned our Pursuit 2002 2870 now for 2 seasons here on the South Shore of Boston. She is a great boat and has been a joy for us, cruising, fishing, and doing some overnights. Stable heavy seaworthy ride and remarkable build quality that has held up well for 21 years. Only watch outs are:
1) Yamaha 225 hp engines are notorious for mid engine exhaust corrosion along with corrosion around thermostat housings. Be sure to get that checked. There is a upgrade kit for mid engine problem which had been done on our motors.
2) Have heard of some boats of this vintage with fuel tank pinhole leaks from corrosion requiring replacement.
Finally, Pursuit customer service has been awesome sourcing components we have needed to replace here and there.
