Holding tank level Denali 2460?

Postby hnt » Mon Oct 24, 2011 1:06 pm

I am trying to determine how much is in my holding tank in my 1996 Denali 2460. The tank is located under the forward cockpit deck but I cannot figure out how to check the level. (Bought the boat this year). Can anyone with a 2460 give me some pointers?

Thanks

I have the same boat. I don't think you can really check the level unless you installed an in-tank sending unit. I pump out every month or two. Worst case scenario is that you'll know when it's full when it starts sloshing out of the breather hole.

Don't forget to pump water through the system regularly, regardless of whether or not you use the head--it will keep everything smelling fresher.
