2017 325 OS - Bow Thruster Battery Access

Postby Pebner57 » Sun Jun 02, 2024 3:19 pm

After 6 years of faithful service, my bow thruster battery is showing signs that it may need to be replaced. Pursuit's owner's manual indicates that access to the battery can be found underneath of the port side v-berth cushion. Well, lo and behold, after sliding the port side cushion to the centerline of the boat, there is no access panel underneath. I suspect the battery access is actually under the forward, somewhat semi-circular cushion since that is where the bow thruster battery cables lead (I've removed the floor panel in front of the dining table and can see the battery cable running toward the bow). That said, I've been unable to figure out how to remove the semi-circular cushion and it seems to be firmly attached on the underside. Any ideas or suggestions on how to remove the cushion would be greatly appreciated as would confirmation that the bow thruster battery is located there. Thanks, in advance, for any helpful guidance provided!
