SS prop for 1989 2550

Postby tdf0uav » Sun Mar 31, 2013 9:39 pm

I think I want to put a ss prop on my 1989 2550 walk around. It is an I/O merc with bravo one. I,m expecting better performance/economy. Am I dreaming? Boat performs pretty good now but I can only get about 35mph aft. I only run in fresh great lakes water.

SS prop for 1989 2550

I own a 2550 but with twin 200 Yami's and my answer is you really wouldn't notice a big difference with a ss prop. Prop pitch is where the performance/economy lies.
