We have 19 x 21 props with volvo KAMD 44's and at 1450 rpm before the Supercharger cuts in we are trolling at 7 knots approx .
we need another 1.5 to 2 knots!! Has anyone tried 4 bladed props to achieve this?
We presently cruise at 3400 when we get 21-22 knots and WOT is 3950 but a lower top speed is no problem at all.
All advice welcome.
we tried the cutoff switch - but all we get is black smoke and we are not comfortable with that route!
