2000 Pursuit Denali 2860 4 Battery Setup Question
Battery Switch 1 (Battery 1 & 2) is connected to starboard engine AND acts as house bank. Battery 1 or 2 (or both) can be used to start starboard engine and power the panel (house).
Battery Switch 2 (Battery 3 & 4) is connected to port engine. Battery 3 or 4 (or both) can be used to start port engine.
So batteries 3 and 4 cannot be used to start the starboard engine in emergency nor power the panel.
Also, this is strange. The battery charger (4 bank) is connected to the selector switch somehow. If I have the switch on OFF, batteries do not charge. So when connected to shore power with charger ON, I have to leave the 2 selectors on ALL for all the batteries to charge. 2 charging banks on the charger are utilized instead of all 4. Shouldn't the charger be connected to batteries directly?
