2006 3370 Aerator or no aerator?

Postby marinemods » Tue Dec 05, 2017 10:43 pm

I replacing the two livewell pumps on this boat. They are both
Jabsco - 50840-0012 - Stainless Steel 5/32 HP Centrifugal Pump. One is used to fill the well and is connected to the Livewell switch, the other seems to only recirculate the water and is attached to the aerator switch. So is it truly and aerator? Is there a better way of doing this. Both pumps are dead so I need to change them. I am looking to improve on design if it's even needed.

I like using an oxygen system. In the GOM it works great.
