1999 2460 Denali cabin rod holder suggestions

Postby DR Hyatt » Tue Jun 02, 2020 3:32 pm

Can anyone give me any suggestions on how to mount rod holders in my cabin. I’m afraid to drill holes in the cabin roof for fear of drilling thru. I seen some suggestions on line for mounting to the side wall, but would rather have them on the ceiling. Please send pictures if available....

Thanks in advance!

I used # 10 x 3/4 inch screws to attach my rod holders. The cabin top is a sandwich of glass-balsa-glass. Carefully drill a pilot hole thru the first layer of glass. You will feel it when the drill bit goes thru it. Then simply screw the rod holders into place.

Thanks for the info! I thought that was the case but wanted to make sure.
