2870 Walk repower...prop size

Postby drktheo » Sun Mar 19, 2023 8:22 am

I just repowered my 2870 with F250 Yamaha 4 strokes.....I have MERC R4 blade 14.6 X17 props on now and turning about 5500 under load. I would like a few more RPMS......Any suggestions? 14.5X16 Saltwater series?

My old 200HPDIs had 14.5X15s and ran great for 2900 hours and still going strong
