Water in centerline fuel tank

Postby CaptMaritime » Wed Oct 14, 2026 8:05 am

I own a 2016 Pursuit 385 OS with triple 300 hp Yamahas. Recently my centerline Yamaha 300 hp engine has been triggering "water in fuel" alarm. Upon investigation I had water in both the primary and secondary fuel filters. I stripped the bottom of the fuel tank out as well.

Has this been something other owners have experienced? Some other info I have found could be pointing to a failed O-ring in the fuel fill cap.
