Water Heater Problem

Postby Reelchaser » Mon Jan 24, 2011 11:32 pm

Has anyone replaced their water heater on a 2001 - 3070 Offshore pursuit? This thing is buried and needs to be replaced. It doesn't look like there is a way to remove it without cutting out the back area.

Thanks for your responses.

Water Heater Problem

Postby Gman5436 » Sun Jan 30, 2011 12:00 am

I had the same problem. I took out the bait refrigerator, removed the 2 water pumps, and one of the oil tanks , climbed into the bilge and unscrewed it. It comes out in one piece. I got another new tank off ebay and put it in. Wasn't a hard job, but it took some time.

Good luck.

you have to remove the drawers on the SB Stern, that whole section screws right out....
