Headliner Water leak

I had a headliner leak that came through the horn on a 3370. Now Pursuit got smart and moved the horn over the anchor locker.

Headliner Water leak

Received 18' of the screw cover material from American Marine today. Plan to replace all of the trim & hopefully this will cure the leak. Appreciate the input all.

Headliner Water leak

Hey Capt. Jim, did the new screw cover and re-seating the screws fix your leak. I've got a similar issue with my 2470 so I ordered some of that TP717 gasket material today. I sure hope it fixes the problem because all that water is making a real mess of my headliner.

Yup - was a painless fix. While I was at it I also replaced all of the window trim - windshield plus port & stbd windows as well. Shampooed the headliner and it's as good as new.

Headliner Water leak

I did my screw cover gaskets this past weekend. I would have been out this past weekend to test it, but I also found that my aft blige pumps were not working. I traced the problem to a coroded ring terminal in the "Essential Circuits Module" over by the battery switches. Unfortunately the darn thing literally crumbled in my hands as I was taking it apart. Ugh! That BEP plastic sure does get is brittle with age. New one is on order and I should have it in a few days.

Good call on the trim BTW. Do you happen to have the part numbers handy? (No worries if, not -- I can just call American Marine). I think I should do those as well.
