I am getting ready to change the oil in my outdrive and am getting a little confused. I see some of the outdrives use gear oil, and some use engine oil. My boat is on a lift so I can't get to the plate that tells me which model I have.
This boat has a 7.4GI engine. Does anyone know or want to guess which outdrive I have. Or if I need engine oil or gear oil?
