Seacock strainer cleaning 3000 express

Postby Woodworker2001 » Mon Apr 29, 2019 9:19 am

Previous owner did not clean the strainers like he should have. So here are some before and after shots. Had to take the tops off and put in a vice. Then used a 24” pipe wrench in the cap and had to hit it with a hammer to get it broke loose. Now they spin right out. Little bit of grease and they should not corrode again

For anyone looking the pursuit 3000 express came with graco bvs series strainers (at least when powered with mercruiser)
