1988 2550 Center Console Cuddy - Livewell does not drain

Postby SeanP » Fri May 10, 2019 8:21 pm

Last year I picked up a 1988 2550 Center Console Cuddy. I spoke with Pursuit on how to get the livewell to drain as I could get it to fill with water by opening the valve (see pictures).

The Customer Support sent me the link to the 1989 manual which instructed me on how to fill the livewell and was the same process I used.

When I asked him to how to drain it, he stated that it was a two person job. One to operate the boat and while the boat is under way the second person will pull the drain plug.

When I did this, water fills up the livewell. It does not drain.

Any input would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.
