Bomar Hatch replacement on 3000 Express

Bomar Hatch replacement on 3000 Express

Several of my Cabin hatches have developed some unsightly cracks. I went directly to Pompanette/Bomar to ask for replacement Acrylic and they directed me to find a local glass shop as they do not do replacements. I am in Rochester, NY but not certain it matters if someone has a place that has done them!

If your referring to the small side hatches I replaced mine with black (100% light block) acrylic sourced from a glass shop scrap pile several years ago.

Very easy to cut and drill using one of the old ones for a template.

I took mine to a place local here in Ft Lauderdale. They replaced the acrylic windows in the frame and bedded it properly with whatever they use for that. Look like new. They must have some places up north that do work on plastic windows. Still looking for new hinge pins. They are some sort of plastic and eroded. No luck from pompanette. They seem useless unless you want entire new windows.
