Helm Seat Disassembly

I am working on trying to take apart the seat so I can reupholster it. The plastic portion on the back is not coming off. Does anyone know HOW THE HECK this thing comes apart??? There are no visible bolts for the plastic and I am trying VERY hard not to break the darn thing by prying too hard! :(
I'd appreciate any help/guidance on this one!!!
