I am not sure about the 2002 model, but there was a recall on the exhaust risers or exchangers. I would check with Pursuit to see if it was done or not

They did not have problems with the Crusader engines, the boats with Mercs had big problems with water coming into the cylinders. Just to be sure check with Pursuit. Give that the hull number and they will tell you of any issues. I have a 99 3000 and love it. Common problems are leaks in the cabin overhead though the screws that hold the windshield down. Other normal wear and tear items are shaft seals and rudder seals. Many of us have installed a bilge pug between the engine room and cabin (bilge under the stair steps). Feel free to contact me as I have done many repairs and mods.
