2003 2470 CC - Swim Ladder Bracket Removal

Postby Herdbull201 » Mon Aug 10, 2026 3:41 pm

I have 2003 Pursuit 2470. It has one of the Armstrong bracket swim ladders. Guess what, I left it down and took off and bent it all up. I finally got the ladder out of the bracket, but it needs to be replaced. I ordered a new one that is a swing ladder from Armstrong. My mechanic is telling me the only way he can get the old bracket off is if he cuts a hole in the floor back there. He says there is a stringer in the way if he goes straight back. And, he says if he goes through the access where the fuel water separator is that there is something factory glassed in back there too that prevents him from being able to reach the bracket bolts. Any advice on how to swap this thing out?
