Water in fuel tank-2007

We have a 2007 22ft Denali and have consistently experienced what appears to be rust in the fuel tank that is ultimately blocking the fuel pump from receiving adequate fuel. Has anyone experienced a similar problem which would indicate ttat this might be a manufacturing defect with this make/model?

I used to deliver Pursuits and own a Pursuit. I never heard of this happening consistently. First thing I would do is check to make sure the fill cap is tight and has an o-ring. Make sure all fill hoses and vent tubes are clamped correctly. I would also consider installing a Racor gasoline filter BEFORE the fuel pump to catch all the rust and dirt.
