WTB Yamaha 200 HPDI or F150

Anyone looking to sell one of these motors in the southeast/mid-atlantic? Will go to a good home on a Pursuit 2150.

Keezy, in a strange twist of fate, I, too, have a 1993 Pursuit 2150 in need of a motor. Mine is a walk-around w/cuddy and a beautiful hard-top (w/antennae, rocket launchers, cockpit-deck light and search light on top). As it is tough for me to move it on and off of the trailer, I have decided to go with a smaller boat. Later, when I can maneuver to a larger slip, who knows, maybe an OS 375... In the meantime, if you are still looking, I will do what I can to resurrect some of my files with regard to replacement motors and get you any information I have (I believe I looked from the Carolina's on north).

Feel free to let me know if you hear of anyone looking for one of these terrific boats w/trailer (in need of an engine). Good luck with your motor search.

Thats quite a coincidence!
I have a 175 Black Max on there now. It runs OK and pushes the boat to about 44mph but I've had enough of the smoke.

any luck with getting new motor? I also have a 2150CC just put a F225 Yamaha on it, not so sure i like it, i believe stern dragging to much, thinking about a F150, would like to know how it would perform on a 2150

Thanks for posting, that confirms my suspicion about the weight of a V6 4-stroke.

I'm still looking. I have my mind set on a Suzuki 175 as the perfect motor for this boat.

After owning it for a year I'd say a 175hp or 200hp direct inject 2-stroke would also be suitable repower for this hull. I have passed-up a lot of Optimax motors because I need something quiet. Some of the fish I chase after are boat shy.

I'm not sure how it would perform with a 150. I heard from one fellow who owned this same model boat with a 150 2-stroke that he thought it wasn't enough power with 6 guys and a full fishing load. I wouldn't fish more than 3 total on this size boat so I don't know what that means. I'm very happy with 175hp, it runs like a scalded-dog.
