Parting Out Pursuit 3000 Express - Freshwater Only

Postby MiPilot » Sat Sep 03, 2011 3:11 pm

Hi Guys,

I am parting out my 1999 Pursuit 3000 Express as we suffered an on-board fire. Items that where unaffected were the Props, Shafts, Rudders, Fuel Tanks, rear steering gear and it is believed (two independent surveyors) that the engines and transmissions (Merc 350 Mag MPI 300 hp. and Velvet Drive #20-01-004) are fine as well. This was a top side fire but did extend into the engine compartment (burnt wiring but not hoses).

I will be pulling the engines and transmissions in the next couple of weeks and checking them over throughly. These were replaced by Merc in 2004 with completely new long blocks and have only accumulated around 190 hours since. Regular maintenance was performed by myself.

Other items are the cabin Norcold refrigerator, Kenyon stove, head and sink assembly, Pursuit distribution center, battery charger, Windlass and Delta anchor.

Most hardware including rear cockpit door and swim platform, infloor fishbox, and complete bow rail.

I am sure there is more....and feel free to ask. Boat is located in Michigan.

Thanks, Steve

What shape are the rudders in? Let me know after you get them out if there is any pitting on the shafts. How is the windlass and is the anchor stainless? Was there a hardtop? You can e-mail me at boatmanmark@yahoo.com

Hi Steve,
I have a 2000 Express and I'm in need of a couple of parts. I need the port side engine vent that is located on the side of the hull. My came loose and fell off and Pursuit doesn't have the part. I could also use the ladder cover for the back swin platform. And lastly, my windlass might be shot. If you could reach out via email or phone, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Steve,
I have a 2002 Express with no hardtop and I'm sure yours would fit. I would need everything. I also have no swim platform and again I'm sure yours would fit. Can you let me know if you will sell and what price.
Thanks,
Cliff @ 720-626-1861

Where are you located? I would be interested in the door to the main cabin and maybe some of your hatches.
