Replacing cockpit speaker wires? Help!

Postby NB-limey » Sat Sep 27, 2025 10:18 am

Hey guys , any tips will be appreciated.
I have a 2003 ...3000 Express. I'm replacing the original Clarion stereo/audio system with a new fusion model along with the speakers. I decided that I probably need to replace the 22 year-old original speaker wires while I'm at it. This is not proving to be an easy case of just tying on new wires and pulling through attached to the old ones . They must either be trapped with other wires in harnesses or too many bends, etc..
Any tips, advice, or anyone's experience with similar please message back it would be greatly appreciated.
Tight lines to all.........thanks !

Your going to have a hard time getting them out, they are wrapped up (and taped) in the factory harness that bends/twists its way thru the hull.

You will regret messing with them.....
