C-260 Electric Head

I purchased a used C-260 which has two switches one for Electric Head and the other for the Head Macerator Pump. I just replaced the Macerator Pump and it works, but when I push the Electric Head switch nothing happens....The head is a Raritan with manual pump which works fine. Is the Electric Head switch supposed to automatically flush the toilet? If so where are those components located? Thanks for any insights you can provide and happy boating season!
