315 Fish Boxes

Postby phish'n phool » Sun May 12, 2013 12:48 pm

I just picked up a 2010 315. So far so good, however I can't seem to get the fish boxes on the deck to drain out. I filled them up half way with the hose to see if they drain but nothing yet. My understanding is that they are self draining? is there a valve I need to open up in the hull? anyone else run into this issue. This boat is practically brand new and the previous owner never used any of these features. thanks in advance for any info.

They're not self draining. They are pumped out via a macerator pump. Switch is in the cluster of 3 switches on the port side by the transom door.

there is also a through hull fitting with valve that needs to be opened. Valve may still be shut from the winterization
