Helm Seat Actuator - 2001 3070 Offshore

Postby Johnsodaj » Wed Jun 04, 2014 5:14 pm

Has anyone replaced the actuator and the plastic pieces on the underside of the helm seat for a 3070 Offshore. having a dickens of a time locating the parts. Pursuit helped as much as possible (gave me part numbers and manufacturers) but it doesn't appear that either is made anymore and I'm not sure how to get this work done.

I live in Jupiter Florida if that helps. I removed the Helm seat to re-upholster it and essentially everything below the seat that makes it go back and forth is falling apart. I'd be grateful for any ideas.

I had the same problem as you on my 3070. I did make the nylon parts by a manufacturer in New Caledonia. and I ordered the actuator in the usa.
The 6 nylon pieces came back to me very expensive ($ 1100) and the actuator 187 USD with custom fees and freight
The reference of the actuator:

Thanks Scurby Dog. My reupholstered got the nylon pieces made for me for someone local he knows. Cost me an amount that I won't tell you because you'd be very unhappy with what you paid. I had given up on this thread and there you were answering the question! So thank you very much. I'll go looking for the actuator now from Firgeli Automation. Since the old one worked, I just greased it up and put it back on but i'd still like to buy the replacement for later on down the road.
