Gel Coat Issues
For what it's worth I had a ceramic coating applied to my 2015 ceramic coated last year and couldn't be happier. They applied it to call smooth gelcoat surfaces above the waterline, including the non-skid. It not only looks great, but it also makes it considerably easier to clean.

I also suggest pursuits customer service they have been very good at answering questions for my new to me 2000 boat.
Chris you mind me asking what it cost you to have the ceramic coating done?

Woodworker2001, this is a really old thread, but just noticed your question. I paid about $7K, which included hauling the boat, a full detail, and ceramic coat on gelcoat, motors, stainless, and glass surfaces. Not inexpensive, but it's supposed to last for 2 to 3 years. The boat sits in a wet slip exposed to the FL sun 24x7. I'm a year and a half in at this point and am still very happy with the results. I don't do anything other than rinse it off with water after each use and wash with soap every three or four months.
