I just re-powered my 2009 315 OS with new Yamaha 300’s. What props do you guys recommend for me. The Yamaha technician installed 15.25 x 19 and on acceleration they have cavitation (Rev up).

I have a 2011 with 300's and it came with 19 pitch 3 blades but did not turn enough rpms so dealer who sold it used to me put on powertech ofs3 18 pitch. currently on 2 hole and ventilate a little bit at mid acceleration but not much and get 45-46 mph at around 5600 rpm. I just tried ofs4 4 blade 16 pitch and they were horrible. much more ventilation at hole shot and even some at hard cornering. do not know why but will either get modified via adding more cup or get replaced. Ken from prop gods recommended Q4 17pith 4 blade but I did not do it because apparently my year 300s had a problem with seals with these props but your new ones should be fine. I may try them once I get the maintenance recall seals updated if they have not already been done. hope this helps, jsk
