Pics,some taken before during and after the mods, I have a lot more, would need to go through them,

Port side,after I had started, the original thru hull still fitted, you can just see the second thru hull still fitted, the gaps in the bulkhead are how Pursuit built the boat.

Same area with thru hull moved above the HWS, hose aft is the air intake box drain, hose forward live tank drain, center hose is connected to a 2000 GPH bilge pump.

Freshwater lines and electrical moved to a channel I fiberglassed against the side,original hole in center of bulkhead that all the electrics and freshwater lines originally went thru glassed up.

House battery moved into area where original thru hull was fitted.

Got some more work done while dodging the rain. Hopefully we’ll be back in the water soon.

Got the engine vent coring sealed back up and most of the old adhesive removed from the covers. Hard to see, but the lower area of my vent seems to be sealed / isolated from the hull below.

Got all of the thru Hull holes routed and sealed back up. Got new fittings installed for the starboard A/C and bilge discharge. And also both port sump discharges. I used stainless thru Hull fittings with Forespar 849 valves on the back side for the sump discharges, and Forespar hose adapters on the A/C and bilge discharge. I have the 2 large ones left to do and then reconnect all of the plumbing inside.

Great job. How hard was accessing thru hills? I imagine it was a bitch but it is on my must to list next winter

Its not fun. I removed the old ones with a dremel from the outside. The port side was easier than the starboard side. The A/C thru hull and extra wires running to the helm makes the starboard side tighter. I'm not that big and was able to wedge myself up in front of the engines and sort of turn my shoulders a little sideways to have both hands to get things done. I removed my engine coolant tanks for some head room. Its a job that would take a couple hours with the engines removed, but it took me a few days off and on.

Thru hull project finally complete. Large drains plumbed back together as close original as I could do.

Also back filled my engine vents with epoxy. I burned a half caulk gun size tube of 4200 and only made it half way around one, then ran out. Had to clean all of it off. Should use a lot less when I replenish my boat glue supply.

I’m not sure if I should stick these back on with 5200 or 4200. I was going to use 4200 and maybe add 2 screws at a later date. There’s enough surface area I think either would hold fine. 5200 is a lot more permanent.

I just finished my vent project. The vent covers went back on yesterday with 4200. I went down today to remove the tape and clamps and to clean the glue from the tape. They are rock solid. At the risk of telling you something you already know and sounding as a know-it-all, I would not use 5200 on the covers. you will never get them off again. Rarely do I see the need to use 5200 with any of my projects. Let us know what you use.

Too late. They are 5200'd on there. I thought about it and decided I'd rather not loose them. The cut out is epoxied in solid, I hope I never have a reason to remove them for the time I'll own this boat. I think someone makes a 5200 solvent or I'll have to get in between it with a piece of braid fishing line and saw at it.
