Deck Drain and Drain line replacement

Postby cutter0071 » Tue Apr 27, 2021 2:10 pm

I have a 2006 2570 offshore. My starboard cockpit drain is draining VERY slow. Inside the access panel I can see that there is a one way check valve, which is likely clogged with junk. It also appears the valve is cracked and leaking some, although not heavily.

I'd like to remove the valve at a minimum and replace the drain line.

Does anyone know what the best drain line to use is. The ones I looked at from West Marine seem very stiff.

I'm also thinking the deck drain itself may get damaged in the process. Has anyone replaced those drains with a stainless steel one
