3000 Express engine hatch actuator

Postby MarkT » Fri Oct 08, 2021 3:35 pm

Has anyone ever taken one apart? I want to change the motor orientation (motor is on the bottom forward side) to the outside on the bottom. Just need to change the stub shaft 90 degrees. Looks pretty simple just taking the bottom cover off but I don't want a can of worms surprise! As it is I can not lower my port exhaust tube as it just about sits on the actuator now, and mounting the actuator upside down it would still hit the pipe on top.
