Water in bilge after day on water

Postby dorado1045 » Sun Jun 21, 2026 5:00 pm

Hello,

I have 2004 2470cc with a single yamaha 225 4 stroke. I am seeing water in the bilge after acday on the bay. There is quite alot, enough that i notice a difference in boat handling. I have been trying to find where it is coming into the boat but no luck so far. I have replaced the head water supply seacock, the macerator seacock. Do not see and issues with the hull.
I also replaced the thru hulls for the cockpit drains port and starboard. I noticed that the user manual diagram had ball valves on these. I do not have them. Are they needed.
Appreciate any help
